Burlesque Bombshells
Become a Bombshell! You will learn classic burlesque moves and walks before putting them together in a cute routine! This cheeky dance is perfect for busting out on the dance floor or even as something special for the wedding night!
The class includes an opportunity for group performances and photos. Dress-ups encouraged so bust out your corsets, fishnets, heels and gloves!
Looking the part will help to get you in the showgirl mood so we strongly recommend getting your minxiest costumes out!
This class can be as risque or tame as you wish. You can request your favourite song or let the professionals choose something to suit.

It's time to get a little spicy! Learn sexy, sultry moves in a cheeky routine that will leave you - and your intended audience - a little hot under the collar!

Our tutors will guide you through 1920s inspired dances moves and will have you doing the Charleston with the best of them in no time! Fabulous flapper dress ups encouraged for this class– think pearls, fringing and fascinators!

After 10 years of running parties for blushing brides and giggling girls nights, we've refined the absolute best packages for you, to keep things simple and easy to organise.
HOW LONG: All of our private parties run for 1.5hours - the perfect duration for a fun class and time for group photos.
WHEN: Parties can be booked at any time to suit you - we recommend Saturday and Sunday afternoons, however week days are also available.
WHERE: All of our parties are presented at The Bombshell Burlesque Academy studios located at 12 Jamieson Street, Bowen Hills, moments away from bustling hubs including Gasworks in Newstead and the Entertainment Precinct in Fortitude Valley.
Located in shared art space Jamieson Studios, the studio is 81sqm (10.8 x 7.5) with 2.9m ceilings and features:

Our tutors are not currently travelling offsite for private parties due to CovidSafe considerations.
GETTING THERE: The studio is located a 1 minute walk from the Bowen Hills train station and Abbotsford Road bus stops. Ample on street parking is available in the area including on Jamieson St, Abbotsford Road, Hurworth St, Mayne Rd and Cintra Road. Paid parking can be found at Secure Parking 25 Montpelier Rd, a 5 minute walk from the studio, and Gasworks, approximately a 10 minute walk away.
WHO: Our parties are open to anyone aged 18 and over. We welcome all genders and fitness levels!
COST: Our 90 minute parties are $400 for up to 10 guests. Additional guests can be added at $30 each.
DRINKS & NIBBLES: While we don't provide refreshments, you are welcome to BYO your own drinks and nibbles. An additional $80 cleaning fee will apply when food or drink is consumed at the venue. Please let us know at the time of booking.
PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY: Add a professional photographer to your event to capture the fun! Our photographer will photograph your party to create the most perfect memories, and deliver a minimum of 50 web res images at an additional cost of $550.
All clients will receive a personalised online gallery within 7 days, which includes the option to purchase high res images and a la carte premium quality print services delivered directly to their home.
BOOKINGS: To secure your preferred date and time a 50% deposit is required with the balance payable 7 days before the event.
CANCELLATION: All deposits are non-refundable. Any cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable. We do not give refunds for guests who have confirmed and paid but do not attend the event.
THE FINE PRINT: Bombshell Burlesque events are 18+ and by taking part, participants confirm that they are over 18 years of age. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to participate. Further to that, participants release Bombshell Burlesque and it’s representatives against all costs incurred, expenses and all liabilities whatsoever that may arise as a result of participants actions or tutors instructions during all activities undertaken with Bombshell Burlesque.
All guests must be booked and paid for 7 days in advance of the event. All members of your party, including non participants, are required to be paid guests. The exception to this is if you are booking your own external professional service, who must provide us with their current PLI in advance.
Bombshell Burlesque takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its activities. It accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused in or near the events.
Bombshell Burlesque is a proudly CovidSafe business and all guests must adhere to the current Queensland Health regulations including but not limited to masking, social distancing, check-ins and vaccination status when applicable.
